Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring scrubbing ability and cath lab or ICU critical care experience.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting with 2 procedure rooms
• Circulating in the Cath Lab with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities include one night per week and every third weekend
• Must be available to work the July 4th weekend
• No blocked scheduling available, though efforts are made to provide long weekends
• Uses Cerner and MacLab EMR systems

Requirements

• Active RN license (TN or compact)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment
• Must be able to scrub for procedures
• Emergency Cath Lab experience preferred, or ICU critical care experience considered
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the specialty
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Scrub color provided by facility
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Not eligible if previously employed at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
