Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel position requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience.

Details

• 40-bed Med/Surg unit (Unit/Floor 3)
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• No call requirements
• No floating required
• No 48-hour work week requirement
• Uses MEDHOST EMR

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Titers must be in hand at time of consideration
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of start

Additional Information

• Royal blue scrubs required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• RTO requests must be submitted in advance and limited to less than 1 week
• Holiday blackout period applies with a maximum of 3 RTO days allowed
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
