Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring Epic EMR experience and an active NY RN license.

Details

• Emergency Department setting at a hospital main campus
• 13-week assignment on night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Works every other weekend
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the Emergency Department specialty
• Certifications from AHA or RQI required
• Epic EMR experience required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted
• Minimum of 1 reference from a supervisor or manager (not a charge nurse), dated within the past year
• Medical exemption signed by a licensed professional required for flu vaccine exemption; personal or religious declinations not accepted

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ED environment
• Navy blue scrubs required
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks of the last call-out
• RTO must be requested at time of submission
• Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties are not eligible
