Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a weekend outpatient orthopedic and neuro imaging position requiring ARRT MR certification and 1+ years of experience.
Details
- Outpatient orthopedic center setting focused on MSK and neuro imaging
- All exams are non-contrast with limited contrast studies and arthrograms
- Patient ratio of 1:4 on weekdays and 1:1 on weekends
- 2x10 hour weekend day shifts, Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- No call requirements and no overnight shifts
- Optional opportunity to pick up additional shifts to cover PTO or work at another unit on main campus
- Uses Siemens MRI equipment
- EPIC charting system used
Requirements
- ARRT MR certification required
- License required if applicable
- Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience required
- Experience with MSK imaging including foot, hand, hip/pelvis, knee, shoulder, and extremities preferred
- Experience with spine imaging including cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and sacrum/coccyx preferred
- Experience with adult and pediatric outpatient populations preferred
Additional Information
- Perform MRI exams focused on orthopedic and spine cases including MSK and neuro imaging
- Located in Chesterfield, MO at an orthopedic center
- Facility is a short term acute care teaching hospital with Level I trauma designation
- Black scrub color required
- Free parking available
- First-time travelers accepted
- No floating required outside of assigned unit
- No more than 7 days of RTO allowed per 13-week contract, with no RTO during the first week of assignment
- Local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius are not eligible; must reside outside this radius
- Returning permanent BJC employees must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Returning travelers must complete an 18-month period with a required 3-month break in service
