Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (R) certification for a day-shift clinic role.

Details

• Full-time clinic technologist position
• Day shifts, variable 8 or 10 hour shifts depending on unit need
• Rotating weekends, every third weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Uses GE and Philips imaging equipment and PACS system
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required
• License required if applicable
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• Prior travel experience required, especially for candidates with Level 1 or 2 trauma background and multiple facility employment history
• Experience with abdominal, upper extremity, lower extremity, spine, pelvis, chest, and head X-rays
• Fluoroscopy study experience preferred, including arthrography, barium swallow, contrast enema, ERCP, myelography, and upper GI series
• Experience with C-Arm and O-ARM procedures preferred
• Skilled in infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, radiation safety, and contrast media preparation/administration
• Peripheral IV starting skills preferred

Additional Information

• First-time travelers accepted if candidate has prior Level 1 or 2 trauma experience
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate if within 50 miles of the facility
• Pending licenses not accepted, must have license in hand
• Travelers may return to this facility only after a minimum 1-year separation
• Travel pairs accepted
• Facility cannot accommodate candidates with latex allergies
• NIHSS certification may be pending at submission but must be completed during compliance
• Badge photo (passport-style) required within 24 hours of offer acceptance
• Two supervisor references required after offer acceptance
