Description
American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Oncology unit position requiring ONS certification and Epic experience.
Details
- Inpatient Oncology unit with a 28-bed adult acute care hematology/oncology unit and a 15-bed intermediate care Stem Cell Transplant Unit (SCTU)
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
- Night shift, 4x12 hours (19:00-07:00)
- 13-week assignment with option for 36 or 48 hours per week
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Floating required in accordance with facility float policy
Requirements
- Active VA or compact RN license (pending accepted)
- BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
- ONS certification required, with certificate to be provided
- ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification required, may be pending if completed prior to start
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care within a hematology/oncology and stem cell transplant care setting
- Up to 40 hours of requested time off may be approved per contract
- Must wait 12 months before returning as a traveler to this facility
- No radius requirement for this position
