Description

American Traveler is hiring an Inpatient Occupational Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital setting, requiring 1-2 years of acute care experience and inpatient orthopedic exposure.

Details

• Acute care hospital inpatient setting
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Tuesday-Saturday
• Inpatient orthopedic patient population, including day-of-surgery patients
• ICU experience helpful but not required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Travelers expected to float between all facilities within the state

Requirements

• Current WA Occupational Therapy license required if applicable
• BLS certification required
• NBCOT certification required
• 1-2 years of acute care experience required
• Inpatient orthopedic experience required
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered
• Local candidates within a 50 mile radius of the facility are not eligible
• Former permanent staff at this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside outside a 50 mile radius
• Permanent staff from other Providence facilities (non-Swedish) are eligible for a travel contract after a 3-month separation
• All Swedish facilities honor an active compact license
• Minimal RTO accommodations available
