Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Women & Infant Float Pool position requiring AWHONN Intermediate certification and the ability to float across Labor & Delivery, Maternal Special Care, and Postpartum units.
Details
- Hospital-based Women & Infant Float Pool position
- Float coverage required between Labor & Delivery, Maternal Special Care, and Postpartum units
- Day shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM)
- Weekend coverage required
- Call requirements apply
Requirements
- Active OH or compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
- AWHONN Advanced certification preferred
- EFM experience preferred
- Prior labor & delivery or women's health nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care across multiple women's and infants' units as needed based on staffing demands
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
- Former employees eligible to return after 6 months away from the facility
- RTO must be requested and built into the contract prior to starting, limited to 7 days or less
- Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after signing contract to meet compliance deadlines
