Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology unit, requiring 1+ year of IR experience and current BLS certification.
Details
- Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital setting
- Adult to geriatric patient population
- Average daily census of 8 patients
- Uses Epic, Pyxis, and PACS systems
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Works every other weekend unless otherwise specified
- Floats within the facility and scope of practice as needed
- Call requirement of 10 days per month
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of IR Tech experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Professional license required if applicable, and must be active at time of consideration
- Must be comfortable working with adult to geriatric patient populations
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- Scrubs provided by the facility
- Maximum of 7 days RTO, with blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
- Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within the assignment period, including Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
- Returning employees must have been away from all facilities within the health system for one full year to be eligible to return as a traveler
- Full compliance required to start on time, as delays may result in a two-week push back due to bi-weekly orientation scheduling
