Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology unit, requiring 1+ year of IR experience and current BLS certification.

Details

Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital setting
Adult to geriatric patient population
Average daily census of 8 patients
Uses Epic, Pyxis, and PACS systems
Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Works every other weekend unless otherwise specified
Floats within the facility and scope of practice as needed
Call requirement of 10 days per month

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of IR Tech experience required
Current BLS certification required
Professional license required if applicable, and must be active at time of consideration
Must be comfortable working with adult to geriatric patient populations

Additional Information

First-time travelers are accepted for this position
Scrubs provided by the facility
Maximum of 7 days RTO, with blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within the assignment period, including Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
Local candidates accepted at the same rate
Returning employees must have been away from all facilities within the health system for one full year to be eligible to return as a traveler
Full compliance required to start on time, as delays may result in a two-week push back due to bi-weekly orientation scheduling
