Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with an active MA license for a 13-week assignment requiring call coverage.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM, 40 hours per week
• Call requirement of 1 day per week and every 8th weekend (Friday night through Monday morning)
• Union facility with no special scheduling accommodations; must be able to work all 7 days of the week

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand prior to consideration
• 2+ years of recent Operating Room experience required
• Two professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher
• No prior disciplinary actions on nursing license permitted

Additional Information

• Must complete a Pass/Fail Medication exam during orientation
• Exempt from RN Tele testing due to OR specialty placement
• Local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius at the same bill rate
• Returning staff must have a 12-month separation from the health system before reapplying
• Up to 14 days of RTO may be submitted for review, with no RTO allowed during the first week of assignment
