Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist requiring ARRT-R certification and 1+ years of experience for a 13-week assignment.
Details
- Radiology department setting
- 4x10 hour evening shifts, Friday through Monday, 1:00 PM-11:00 PM
- 13-week assignment
- Uses EPIC for charting
- Start date contingent on credentialing clearance
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Diagnostic Imaging required
- State Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
- ARRT-R certification required
- BLS certification preferred (AHA only)
- Minimum 1 year of experience required; 2-3 years experience with multiple patient populations preferred
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
Additional Information
- Determine appropriate radiographic technique based on patient anatomy and condition to obtain quality diagnostic images
- Prepare patients for procedures including transporting, transferring, immobilizing, and positioning
- Explain procedures to patients considering physical and emotional needs
- Record digital images for radiologist interpretation and maintain pertinent records
- Provide radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards
- May assist Radiology Technologist students and new staff with exams, sterile technique, and supply stocking
- Local candidates accepted; must reside within 60 miles of Boston, MA for local rate eligibility
