Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and AHA certifications.
Details
- 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting
- Patient population includes stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury cases
- 13-week assignment with an 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shift schedule
- Weekend coverage available on request
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
- AHA certifications required
- License required if applicable
- Active licensure required at time of consideration
Additional Information
- Provides individualized rehabilitation programs tailored to each patient's recovery needs
- Focus on maximizing patient health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs
- Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
