Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Interventional Radiology RN with neuro experience for a day-shift hospital assignment requiring Trauma Level II experience.

Details

• Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call requirements include 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month
• No specific charting system experience required, though Epic experience is preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license, Montana state or compact license accepted
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, with at least 1 year in specialty
• 1 year of ICU experience preferred
• Neuro experience required
• Trauma Level II hospital experience required, Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
• Skilled in procedures such as sheath removal/monitoring, vascular closure systems, angioplasty, stent graft placement, and central venous access/port placement
• Experience with neurological procedures including carotid and cerebral angiography preferred
• Experience monitoring procedural sedation and managing dysrhythmias
• Experience with IV therapy including starting and maintaining IVs
• References required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care during interventional radiology procedures including vascular, neurological, pulmonary, and genitourinary studies
• Administer and monitor medications including antihypertensives, thrombolytics, and emergency medications
• Work as part of a collaborative team delivering high-quality patient care
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be eligible, as local candidates are not accepted
• Background check history considered on a case-by-case basis
• Former permanent employees must have a 2-year break in service before eligibility
• Availability start date and RTO must be confirmed at time of consideration
