Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient rehabilitation clinic in Stockton, CA, requiring an active PT license and at least 1 year of experience.

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist license in the state of practice required (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Degree in Physical Therapy required
- Proficient computer skills including EMR, Word, and Internet use required
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for 8-10 hour workdays
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with patient transfers and mobility
Additional Information
- Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs
- Utilize EMR to complete evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries
- Supervise PT Assistants and Aides regarding patient care
- Communicate with physicians and staff to ensure quality patient care
- Maintain accurate patient chart documentation and follow-up on prescriptions, test results, and authorizations
- Familiarity with PT billing policies including Medicare, workers' comp, private, auto, liens, and cash pay
- Proficiency in DX and ICD-10 coding for billing purposes
- Comply with HIPAA and OSHA regulations regarding patient privacy and safety
