Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Mother Baby - Ante Partum position requiring a ME or compact RN license and at least 2 years of experience.

Details

Work on an OB unit covering antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gynecology patients
Day shift schedule (7a-7:30p)
13-week assignment

Requirements

Active ME or compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation, and STABLE certifications required
Effective written and oral communication skills
Basic computer skills required
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required per state mandate

Additional Information

Independently provide holistic, individualized care using the nursing process for OB patients
Perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care under charge nurse supervision
Manage supplies and equipment while promoting teamwork with physicians and unit staff
Adhere to hospital policies on confidentiality, sexual harassment, advance directives, and ADA
Complete general nursing and unit orientation upon hire
