Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehab Unit position requiring 1+ years of rehab nursing experience and a WA or compact RN license.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation unit within an acute care hospital setting
• 10-bed unit with a 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Adult and geriatric patient population including orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular, stroke, amputation, and traumatic brain injury cases
• Uses Omnicell equipment and Meditech EHR
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required (Sat/Sun for days, Fri/Sat for nights)
• No on-call requirements
• Occasional floating to med/surg as needed by the hospital

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• Minimum 1 year of rehabilitation nursing experience required
• RN degree required
• Rehab documentation experience including GG scoring preferred
• CCRN certification preferred but not required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care to rehabilitation patients recovering from stroke, TBI, orthopedic surgery, and other conditions
• Work within a collaborative, team-oriented unit culture
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel pay
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
