Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring NM or compact RN licensure and full spectrum maternal care experience.

Details

• Work in the Labor & Delivery (Women's Services) unit on the 2nd floor of a 199-bed hospital
• 17-bed unit with patient ratios per AWHONN standards
• Night shift schedule from 7p-7a with every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required to NICU
• Circulate and recover Cesarean sections as part of daily duties

Requirements

• Active RN license (NM or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Electronic Fetal Monitoring
• 2 years of experience required
• Full spectrum maternal care experience required
• Fingerprint-based background check required prior to hire per New Mexico state requirement for all clinical staff
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide full spectrum maternal care including circulating and recovering Cesarean section patients
• Scrubs provided by the unit
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
