Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 2+ years of experience and a KY or compact RN license.

Details

• 25-bed Med/Surg/Tele unit caring for Inpatient, Observation, and Swing bed patients
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours) with every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating to other units required
• CPSI EMR experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• 2 years of Med/Surg/Tele experience required, 3 years preferred
• Community hospital and LTAC experience preferred
• Skills in IV therapy, phlebotomy, central line blood draws, and peripheral line management required
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and telemetry monitoring required
• Knowledge of isolation precautions, PPE, and wound care/wound vac management required
