Description
American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care Telemetry experience and a Colorado or compact RN license.
Details
- Work on a 32-bed Telemetry/Med Surg unit with PCU
- Day shift, 7A-7P schedule
- Staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4-8 RNs, 2 floor CNAs, and 1 sitter per shift
- Patient ratios of 4-5:1
- Unit uses GE Telemetry monitoring system
- EMR is Meditech
- Typical procedures include IV and foley starts and chest tube removal
Requirements
- Active RN license (CO or compact) required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Telemetry experience required
- Experience caring for post-op CABG patients preferred
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
- No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri candidates)

- Care for a Telemetry patient population within a Med Surg/PCU unit
- Best fit for outgoing team players willing to take initiative
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
