Description

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool RN for a night shift assignment requiring both KS and MO (or compact) RN licensure.

Details

• Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool position within a children's hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7p-7a
• Float pool position with floating expected between the main campus and a sister hospital in Overland Park, KS, approximately 12 miles away

Requirements

• Active RN license in Missouri or a compact state, plus a Kansas RN license required
• American Heart Association BLS and PALS certifications required (RQI certifications not accepted)
• Candidates for the main campus may begin with a pending Kansas license if documentation of application is provided
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
• Two supervisor-level professional references completed within the last 12 months required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing support to pediatric patients across float pool assignments
• Facility is a smoke-free and nicotine-free campus with nicotine testing conducted
• A medication/dosage competency test is administered during the first week, requiring a 100% passing score with up to three attempts
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
