Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy Lab position requiring 1 year of GI Lab experience and a MO or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the GI Lab department of a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 0700 to 1530
- Performs procedures including bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, and EGD
- Responsible for circulating during procedures
- Manages post-procedure recovery including conscious sedation monitoring
Requirements
- Active RN license (MO state or compact) required
- Nursing degree required
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
- Minimum 1 year of GI Lab experience required
- Experience administering and monitoring conscious sedation
- Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Proficient in specimen handling and labeling
Additional Information
- Provides pre- and post-procedure care for patients undergoing GI and endoscopic procedures
- Monitors patients under conscious sedation throughout recovery
