Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit on night shift, requiring PCU experience and NIH Stroke certification.
Details
- PCU unit with 14 beds
- Patient ratio of 4:1
- Equipment used includes chest tubes, IV pumps, and various drains
- EMR system: Meditech
- Night shift, 7P-7A
- Every other weekend required
- Floating to other units required
Requirements
- Active KS or compact RN license required
- BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of current hospital PCU experience required
- Knowledge of medication drips, central lines, and cath recovery preferred
- No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide care to progressive care patients requiring close monitoring and management of drains and IV therapies
- Positive, patient-centered, and critical-thinking team players are the best fit for this unit
- No local candidates accepted; must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
