Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a LTAC Med/Surg Tele position on night shift requiring 2 years of MS/Tele experience and neuro experience.

Details

• LTAC Med/Surg Tele unit
• Night shift, 4x12 hours (7:00 PM-7:30 AM)
• 36 or 48 hour weekly options available
• 13 to 26 week contract options
• Weekend coverage supported by rotating on-call staff (6-8 members)
• On-call coverage after 5pm daily and weekends supported by Primary and Backup call Techs
• Floating to other units/campuses required based on qualifications and demonstrated competencies

Requirements

• Active RN license (SC or Compact) required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience required
• Neuro experience required
• LTAC experience preferred
• 1+ years of EPIC EMR experience required
• Skilled in complex wound care, cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, and tracheostomy care/management

Additional Information

• Care for respiratory/thoracic patients including tracheostomy management
• Orientation held every Monday with annual compliance requirements
• Pre-assignment testing and modules required within 48 hours of receiving login credentials
• Travelers must reside more than 100 miles from any facility in the health system, with limited exceptions for reduced bill rate at 90-99.9 miles
• Night shift travelers for this specialty must reside 50+ miles from the contracted campus to be eligible
