Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring ARRT certification and BLS.
Details
- Nuclear Medicine department in an acute care hospital setting
- Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- No float, call, or weekend requirements per assignment description
- Every other weekend and every other holiday coverage required per facility policy
- EPIC charting experience required
- Uses GE and Philips imaging equipment with PACS system
Requirements
- Current ARRT (R) certification and BLS required
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required
- Teaching hospital and community hospital experience required
- Trauma Level II experience required
- License required if applicable
- Skilled in radiation safety, infection prevention, and contrast media administration/preparation
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures across adult acute care, outpatient, ICU, ED, OR, and pediatric acute care settings
- Experience with a wide range of radiographic studies including abdominal, extremity, spine, chest, head, and fluoroscopy procedures
- Skilled in trauma imaging, portable/mobile procedures, and C-arm use
- Maximum of 10 days RTO per contract; no RTO permitted during initial weeks of assignment
- Permanent address must be more than 100 miles from the facility
- Any active state license or compact license accepted
- Free parking available in unrestricted spaces, no pass required
- Travelers are expected to float first when needed
- Attendance policy: more than one call-off may result in termination; no call/no show results in immediate termination
- Returning staff must have a 366-day separation from prior employment with the health system before accepting a travel assignment
