Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift LTACH assignment requiring 2+ years of MS/Tele experience and neuro experience.

Details

  • LTACH Med/Surg Tele unit setting
  • Night shift, 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
  • Weekend coverage supported by rotating on-call staff among 6-8 team members
  • On-call responsibilities after 5pm daily and on weekends, supported by primary and backup call techs
  • Floating to other units or campuses required based on census needs, limited to competencies already demonstrated

Requirements

  • Active RN license (SC or Compact) required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent MS/Tele experience required
  • LTAC experience preferred
  • Neuro experience required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR required
  • Skilled in complex wound care, cardiac monitoring, and dysrhythmia interpretation and management
  • Experience with respiratory/thoracic care and tracheostomy management

Additional Information

  • Provide nursing care on a Med/Surg Tele unit within an LTACH setting
  • Orientation held every Monday, with annual compliance training required
  • Pre-assignment testing and training modules required to be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials
  • Travelers must reside more than 100 miles from any facility within the health system to be eligible for full travel pay rate
  • First-time travelers not specified as eligible for this role
