Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 13-week contract requiring cath lab experience and on-call availability.
Details
- Hospital-based Cath Lab with 3 procedure labs
- Team of 3 staff per procedure with a day shift of 9 plus a supervisor and a 3-person night call team
- 1:1 patient ratio
- High-volume unit performing standard diagnostic and complex interventional cases
- Uses Philips equipment and Meditech EMR
- Shift runs 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- On-call required, averaging 9 days per month
- Average of 1 weekend per month required
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience required
- BLS and ACLS certification required, not expiring within 30 days of start
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care in a very busy, fast-paced Cath Lab environment requiring a strong sense of urgency
- Scrubs provided by the hospital
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
- Unit recognized with the 4th highest engagement score in the hospital
