Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of MRI experience in a hospital setting to provide diagnostic imaging services in a hospital-based MRI department.
Details
- Hospital-based MRI department setting
- Fri/Sat/Sun schedule, Day 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Works under limited direction of radiologist and general supervision of MRI/CT services manager
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program or approved MRI technical program
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience in a hospital setting
- ARRT (MR) credential highly preferred, or ARMRIT certification with current registration required
- Current BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Performs professional duties to obtain proper magnetic resonance images under radiologist direction
- Provides patient care activities, not involving invasive biopsy procedures
- Occasional internal and external contact to exchange work-related information, requiring professionalism and tact
- Locals accepted at the same rate for most facilities, except this facility which enforces a 60-mile radius rule with no local candidates allowed
