Description
American Traveler is seeking a Pediatrics Critical Care Float Pool RN with 2+ years of pediatric critical care experience to float across CVICU, NICU, and PICU units at multiple Phoenix-area locations.
Details
- Float pool position covering CVICU, NICU, and PICU units
- May float between Main, Arrowhead, Avondale, and East Valley locations
- Pediatric critical care patient population
- Days and nights available: 7a-7p or 7p-7a, shift determined at interview
- 26-week assignment
- Provides professional nursing care aligned with evidence-based practice standards and patients' age and condition
Requirements
- Active AZ or compact RN license with multistate privileges required
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current Advanced NRP certification
- 2 years of RN experience in pediatric critical care required
- ADN, BSN, or Diploma Nursing degree required
- Level III or IV NICU hospital experience preferred
- Children's hospital experience preferred
Additional Information
- Collaborates with the healthcare team, patients, and families to deliver individualized pediatric nursing care
- Flu vaccination required October through April unless an approved exemption is on file prior to start
- Unvaccinated staff must sign Declination & Masking Protocol agreements and mask during respiratory virus season
- Only RTO discussed and pre-approved during the interview will be honored
