Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring an active NV RN license and 2 years of high-risk L&D experience with prior travel assignment history.

Details

• High-risk OB unit with 15 labor beds, 9 antepartum beds, and 3 OR suites
• 3x12 day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• May be required to float to other maternal units, postpartum, and NICU up to competency level
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Epic EMR with training available during orientation or test-out option
• Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and occasional call shifts

Requirements

• Active NV RN license required prior to start
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
• NRP certification required; STABLE certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in high-risk Labor & Delivery within a hospital setting
• Prior travel assignment experience required, with at least one recent 13-week travel contract within the past year

Additional Information

• Fast-paced Level II trauma center serving a 500-mile radius with 800 inpatient beds and 80 ER beds
• May be required to work major holidays, with a minimum of 2 major holidays required
• May be required to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period
• Facility reserves the right to cancel shifts for low census with 48 hours notice, full or partial shifts
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• A 13-week break is required before returning travelers can be considered for a new assignment
• Requested time off must be submitted upfront and will not be added to the end of the contract
