Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for an Ortho/Neuro unit requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least one year of recent ortho or med/surg experience.

Details

• Ortho/Neuro unit (Pav2/Pavilion) within a hospital setting
• 36-bed unit staffed with 27 team members including charge RN, techs, and secretary support
• RN to patient ratio of 5:1 and tech ratio of 8-12 patients per tech
• Common procedures include total joint replacements (knee, hip, shoulder) and spine surgery
• Uses immobilizers, braces, and cold treatment equipment
• Meditech EMR used
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license, CO or compact required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Ortho RN or Med/Surg experience in a hospital setting required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Ortho/Spine experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
