Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring strong labor and postpartum experience and EPIC proficiency.

Details

Women's Care Unit setting providing care from childbearing through geriatric years and infants up to 28 days of life
Night shift schedule from 1800-0630
36 hours per week
Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

Current CA RN license required
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
3-4 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
Strong labor experience with comfort in postpartum care required
Newborn stabilization skills required, STABLE certification strongly recommended
AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification required within 6 months of employment, renewed every 2 years
NRP certification required within 6 months of employment, renewed every 2 years
ACLS certification preferred
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Basic computer skills required
No prior hits on license will be considered

Additional Information

Responsible for supervising and coordinating patient care across disciplines
Part of the Adventist Health network
Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
No radius rule applies; local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel rates
Travelers may only be submitted to one hospital within the Adventist Health system at a time
