Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an Emergency Department position requiring BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications with at least 3 years of ER experience.

Details

• Emergency Department setting within a 25-bed critical access hospital
• Night shift schedule, 36 hours per week, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM shift times
• Supervises and directs various levels of assigned nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E
• TNCC certification preferred
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• Minimum 3 years of recent ER experience required
• Must have worked in the ER specialty within the last 3 months
• Cerner and Epic experience must be noted in employment history if applicable
• No prior adverse licensure actions permitted

Additional Information

• Delivers coordinated nursing care using the nursing process for assigned patients
• Collects and analyzes patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and care priorities
• Develops and implements care plans, coordinating delivery of care and promoting a safe environment
• Collaborates with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe, healing care
• Provides patient and family education and participates in discharge planning
• Delegates and coordinates duties among healthcare team members
• Position is represented by UFCW
