Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a Level II Trauma Emergency Department requiring Meditech experience and TNCC certification.

Details

• Night shift position in the Main ED and PBED of a Level II Trauma Emergency Department
• 37-bed unit staffed with charge RNs, RNs, techs/paramedics, and mid-shift staff on both day and night shifts
• Patient ratio of 1:4 in zone
• Uses GE monitors and MediTech EMR
• Shift hours are 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• Floating to ED patients held in hospital for admission may be required
• Schedule includes 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period with no on-call requirement

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the Emergency Department specialty
• Meditech EMR experience required
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Scrub attire required is royal blue top and bottom
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
• HCA/Meditech experience and a quick start date are preferred
• Minimal PTO requests preferred for this assignment
