Description
American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a NICU night shift position requiring Epic experience and either 3 years of NICU experience for first-time travelers or 2 years for experienced travelers.
Details
- NICU setting with an average daily census of 30
- Patient ratio of 1:3
- Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 18:45-7:15)
- Floating required to Mother Baby and Peds units
- Weekend coverage required every other weekend
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active RN license (LA or Compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS and NRP certifications required (must be AHA)
- 3 years of NICU experience required for first-time travelers
- 2 years of NICU experience required for previous travelers
Additional Information
- May be assigned to an Emergency Team during facility emergency events, requiring the traveler to remain onsite until the event passes or a relief team arrives
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply with the required experience
- Must reside 65+ miles from the facility as local candidates are not accepted
