Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a 13-week diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab assignment requiring ARRT (R) or RCIS certification and 1+ years of experience.
Details
- Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Weekday and weekend on-call required during a 4-week schedule period
- Uses fluoroscopy, Philips imaging equipment, ultrasound, and PACS system
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab
- Current ACLS, BLS, and ARRT (R) or RCIS certification required
- NJ license required if applicable, can be obtained during compliance
- Proficient in equipment setup, prepping access sites, accurate monitoring, and maintaining sterile fields
- Skilled in recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
- Experience with cardiac stent placement, diagnostic and left/right heart catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, and hemodynamic monitoring
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include equipment setup, patient prep, sterile field maintenance, and arrhythmia recognition during procedures
- Must be fully vaccinated including COVID booster
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
