Description
American Traveler is hiring a seasonal travel RN for a PACU position requiring at least one year of recent PACU experience and BLS/ACLS certification.
Details
- Work in the Main PACU unit of a hospital setting
- 15-bed unit with a staff of approximately 35
- Estimated patient ratio of 2:1 (not guaranteed)
- Uses GE monitors for patient monitoring
- Meditech EMR used
- 13-week assignment with a 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM shift schedule
- Performs Phase I recovery and Phase II discharge procedures
Requirements
- Active RN license, CO or compact license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications, with certifications not expiring within 30 days of start
- Minimum 1 year of current hospital PACU experience required
- Pre-op experience preferred
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide post-anesthesia recovery care through Phase I and Phase II discharge
- Best suited for candidates with an upbeat personality who thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not considered
- First-time travelers may be considered for this role
