Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a multi-service surgical unit requiring 2 years of OR experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Hospital-based Operating Room setting with 5 ORs and 4 procedure rooms
- Serves adult and pediatric patients across multiple service lines including Ortho, EP, Urology, Plastics, ENT, Facial Plastics, Cataracts, Pain, and Breast Oncology
- Day shift schedule: 0700-1530, 40 hours per week, 13-week assignment
- Every third week includes a late rotation
- No on-call, weekend, or holiday requirements
- Staffing includes 2 lead clinical OR RNs, 1 OR charge RN, and a flexible resource team of 2-3 RNs and 2-3 STs
Requirements
- Active RN license (MD state license or Compact)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Comparable facility size experience required (500+ bed facility experience for this health system)
