Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification.
Details
- Level III Trauma facility with 286 staffed beds
- MRI Tech unit
- 5x8 hour evening shifts, 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- Possible weekend work if assigned to on-call rotation
- On-call rotation required among staff members, weekdays 6 PM-5:30 AM and weekends from Saturday 5:30 AM through Monday 5:30 AM
- No floating required between units or sister facilities
- Uses Philips MRI equipment
- Charting completed in Epic
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required
- BLS certification required
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
- License required if applicable
- AHA certifications only accepted
- Philips equipment experience required
- No radiation badge required
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
- Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis
- Block scheduling accommodations may be requested but are not guaranteed
- All requested time off must be submitted for approval and is subject to facility needs
- Facility may cancel up to 1 shift per 2 weeks
- Scrub requirement includes black pants and a teal top
- Free parking available on-site
- During hurricane season (June-November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
