Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med Surg Tele RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring at least 2 years of experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• 29-bed Med Surg unit with a cardiac population and telemetry monitoring
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• 13-week assignment length
• Epic EMR charting used

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• ACLS certification (AHA) required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
• Implements and monitors patient care plans and communicates patient condition to the care team
• Coordinates care across disciplines and assists with discharge planning
• Requires strong critical thinking and independent judgment in a fast-paced environment
• Navy or maroon scrubs required
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from the facility
