Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience for a fast-paced surgical services role.

Details

• Operating Room setting with five active suites and a sixth in labor and delivery
• Diverse patient population from infant to geriatric undergoing surgical, diagnostic, invasive, and specialty procedures
• Surgical services focus mainly on ortho and trauma, with additional cases in ENT, cataract removal, and C-sections
• RN patient ratio of 1:1
• OR team includes RNs, RN first assists, CSTs, and other assistive personnel
• Day shift, 40 hours per week
• Call requirement includes evenings, holidays, and weekends

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license
• BLS certification required
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience within the last 2 years
• Willingness to train in ENT, cataract, and C-section procedures if not already experienced

Additional Information

• Provide direct surgical care across a wide range of procedures and patient ages
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• Local candidates are not eligible for this position
