Description
American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Critical Care/ICU night shift position requiring 2 years of CCU/ICU experience and an active MA RN license.
Details
- ICU setting caring for trauma, surgical, OB, neuro, medically unstable, and cardiac patients
- Acutely ill patients requiring Q1H or more frequent monitoring, assessment, and interventions
- Night shift schedule, 7p-7a, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
- No on-call responsibilities
- Epic EMR used
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required (MA Temp License accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of CCU/ICU experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing to acutely ill patients across multiple specialties requiring intensive monitoring and intervention
- Blue scrubs recommended though no strict color requirement
- Returning perm staff are not eligible to return as travelers at this facility
- RTO limited to no more than 7 days during the assignment
- Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate if residing under 50 miles from the facility
