Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - Operating Room with at least 1 year of specialty experience and a Montana or compact RN license for a 13-week hospital assignment.
Details
- Operating Room unit within a hospital setting
- Variable 12-hour shift schedule with 4x10-hour shifts per week
- 40 hours per week
- Must be available to work Christmas
- Uses Epic charting system
- May be required to float to other departments based on business need and competency
- May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
Requirements
- Active RN license in Montana or compact license required
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required, not expiring prior to start
- ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification as appropriate for the unit
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Operating Room specialty required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Provide patient education and counseling as needed
- Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment
