Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT(R) certification for an outpatient setting.
Details
- Outpatient mammography setting
- Approximately 20 visits per day across 2 rooms
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- 4x10 block scheduling available for the right candidate, but must work Saturdays
- No weekend requirement otherwise
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required
- ARRT(R) certification required, ARRT(M) preferred
- BLS certification required
- CA state license required; license required if applicable
- Pending license not accepted
- Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Experience with 3-D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Digital Mammography, Fine Needle Aspiration, Needle Localizations, Screening Mammograms, and Stereotactic Biopsy
- Experience with Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX equipment preferred
- Familiarity with radiation safety and universal precautions/core measures
Additional Information
- First-time travelers considered with relevant experience
- Travelers may be required to float between sister facilities within the state
- Returning former staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot be within 50 miles of the facility
- RTO limited to no more than 7 days
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
