Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Level 1 Trauma Center's peripheral and neuro IR department, requiring ARRT(R) certification and neuro experience.

Details

Peripheral and neuro interventional radiology department at a Level 1 Trauma Center
40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Varied 8-hour shifts starting between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM
Weekend coverage supported by rotating call among 6 to 8 staff members
On-call required after 5pm daily and on weekends, supported by primary and backup call techs
13 to 26 week assignment options
May float to other units or campuses within the health system based on census needs, within qualified competencies

Requirements

ARRT(R) certification required, ARRT(VI) preferred
BLS certification required
SC Radiography State License required if applicable
Minimum 1 year of experience required
Neuro experience required
EPIC EMR experience preferred, with 1 year minimum required if applicable
Level 1 Trauma Center experience preferred
Teaching hospital experience preferred
Skilled in PACS equipment operation and maintenance
NICU, Peds, Trauma, and ER skills preferred

Additional Information

Work within an interventional radiology setting supporting peripheral and neuro procedures
Annual compliance orientation held every Monday
First-time travelers may be considered
