Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Level 1 Trauma Center's peripheral and neuro IR department, requiring ARRT (R) certification and neuro IR experience.
Details
- Peripheral and neuro interventional radiology department at a Level 1 Trauma Center
- 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Varied 8-hour day shifts starting between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM
- Weekend coverage supported by a rotating call schedule among 6-8 staff members
- On-call responsibilities after 5:00 PM daily and on weekends, supported by primary and backup call techs
- 13 to 26 week contract options
- EPIC EMR preferred but not required
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required
- ARRT (R) certification required, ARRT (VI) preferred
- BLS certification required
- SC Radiography State License required if applicable
- Neuro IR experience required
- Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
- Experience with PACS equipment operation and maintenance
- Additional experience with NICU, Peds, Trauma, and ER patient populations preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR required
Additional Information
- Orientation occurs every Monday along with an annual compliance requirement
- Pre-assignment testing and modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials
- May be required to float to other units or campuses within the health system based on census needs, only to units where competency has been demonstrated
- First-time travelers may be considered for this role
