Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift travel assignment at a Level 3 Trauma Center, requiring TNCC and NIHSS certifications.

Details

• Emergency Department with 28 beds and 18 staff per 24-hour period
• Level 3 Trauma Center with Accredited Chest Pain Center (Primary PCI) and Stroke Certification
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Uses GE monitors, Lifepaks, Baxter IV pumps, Ranger rapid infuser, and Ranger blood warmer
• Meditech Expanse EMR
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Work alongside a care team including CNC, RNs, PCTs, Unit Clerk, and Greeter depending on shift
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted
