Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN with at least 2 years of specialty experience and BLS/ACLS certification for a day-shift position in Bowling Green, KY.

Details

• Work in a Cath Lab with 2 procedure suites within a hospital setting
• Staffing model is a 4-person team per patient case
• Utilizes Cath Lab equipment including GE, IVUS, and VOLCANO systems
• Documentation completed in Merge Cath Lab Application and Meditech
• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including Left and Right Heart Cath, TEEs, Cardioversion, Pacer Implants, Defibrillator Implants, TILT tests, and Stress Tests
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 40 hours per week
• Call required 1 weekend per month and 1-2 days per week
• Floating required to Cath Lab and Outpatient Stress Test areas

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of similar Cath Lab RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab travel experience required
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures as part of a collaborative Cath Lab team
• Newly renovated, state-of-the-art Cath Lab opened in March 2023
• Facility features brand new EP equipment
• Solid color scrubs required per dress code
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
