Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2 years of cath lab experience and KY RN licensure.

Details

• Cath Lab unit with 2 procedure suites in a main hospital building
• Cath Lab team structure is 4 staff members per 1 patient
• Uses Cath Lab equipment including GE, IVUS, and Volcano systems
• Documentation via Merge Cath Lab Application and Meditech
• Scheduled shifts run 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 40 hours per week
• Call required approximately 1 weekend per month plus 1-2 days per week
• Floating required to Cath Lab and Outpatient Stress Test areas
• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including Left Heart Cath, Right Heart Cath, TEEs, Cardioversion, Pacer Implants, Defibrillator Implants, Tilt Table, and Stress Tests

Requirements

• Active RN license (KY or Compact) required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of similar Cath Lab experience required
• 1 year of Cath Lab travel experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required

• Work in a newly renovated, state-of-the-art Cath Lab opened in March 2023

• Solid color scrub dress code required
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
