Description

American Traveler is hiring a Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Technologist with at least 1 year of high-risk OB and maternal fetal experience for a 13-week contract.

Details

• Maternal Fetal Medicine and High Risk OB work setting
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• No weekend, holiday, or call requirements
• No floating requirements
• Uses GE ultrasound equipment and PACS system
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Current BLS and ARDMS OB/GYN certification required
• NT certification preferred
• License required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• High risk OB and maternal fetal experience required
• Experience with fetal anatomical survey, fetal echo, nuchal translucency screening, and amniotic fluid index
• Skilled in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester ultrasound assessments
• Experience with umbilical cord doppler, placenta previa, and multiple pregnancy scans
• Experience with transvaginal and vaginal ultrasound procedures
• Amniocentesis and vascular doppler studies experience preferred
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE preferred

Additional Information

• Includes 2-4 weeks of unit orientation
• Perform comprehensive maternal fetal ultrasound imaging including fetal anatomy, growth, and Doppler studies
• Does not accept first-time travelers
• Previous Providence permanent staff eligible to return as travelers after a 3 month separation period and if living outside a 50 mile radius of the facility
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• Compact license must be active and in hand at time of consideration
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
