Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Ortho unit position requiring CO or compact RN licensure and prior specialty experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Orthopedics unit setting (not Step-Down)
• 3x12hr Day shifts, 0700-1930
• Weekend shifts required
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active RN license, CO or compact required
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required, must not expire prior to start
• TNCC certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Med/Ortho specialty required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care including health teaching and counseling
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans, and refer patients as needed
• Returning staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
